Manifest Perfect Hair!

A positive mindset, elevated mood and speaking optimistically are often touted as key ingredients in achieving various personal goals, from career success to physical health. However, its impact extends even to the seemingly mundane aspects of life, such as obtaining beautiful, thriving enviable hair. For those who aim to grow fast and healthy locs, embracing a positive mindset, elevated mood and being intentional can offer numerous advantages.

Today we’re going to discuss how these approaches can be an essential and effective tool on your journey to achieving your healthiest set of locs.

Most of us have had the experience of desiring something intensely, putting our physical efforts towards the attainment of that thing, speaking enthusiastically about receiving it until it eventually is drawn into our physical reality.

You can and should apply these same manifestation techniques to get on a frequency of continuously flourishing hair.

Your Thoughts, Words, Feelings & Your Hair

The Don’ts- First off you must make sure your thoughts, words and feelings about your hair are as positive as possible. Your thoughts, words and feelings about your hair (and everything else) are literally reflecting back to you in the form of your current hair experience and how your hair looks to others. As crazy as it may sound, your hair is responding to what you think about it, how you feel about it and what you’re saying about it most of the time. Your thoughts, words and feelings make up your vibration and you want to be sure your vibration is in alignment with your hair goals and not any hair woes.

You need a hair frequency makeover…

-If you are extremely critical about your hair and denigrate your hair for its texture, density, length or anything else. Under those circumstances you are not going to experience the beautiful hair you desire. Think about “The Law of Attraction”; like attracts like. This applies even to this.

- If you are constantly comparing your hair and hair journey to another’s, you are also setting yourself up for failure. No set of locs are the same. Every set of locs offers their own unique beauty. The quote, “Comparison is the thief of joy” describes this perfectly. You could never be anyone else, and they could never be you. You waste time on something you have no control over by comparing yourself to others.

-Never utter words of dissatisfaction or speak you have “bad hair” or that your hair is not functioning or looking how you want it to. This will not only chip away at a healthy loving self-concept, but it will also demotivate you from taking positive actions, such as basic maintenance practices, towards having the beautiful head of hair every girl dreams of. Don’t criticize the Creator’s handiwork!

-If you are abusing your hair or ignoring the health of your hair by using the wrong products, excessive heat/dyeing, over manipulation or out right neglect, you most definitely will see that feedback in the form of unhealthy, dry and breaking hair. However, did you know you’re also signaling that you do not love, care, and appreciate your hair? They say self-love is the best love. Show your hair you appreciate it by treating it as best you can.

The Do’s-You can start seeing positive changes by simply becoming aware of the thoughts, words and feelings you’re emitting relative to your hair, your hair journey and quite frankly in every other area of life as well!

Let’s quickly discuss some easy ways to get on track if you’ve inadvertently been manifesting wack hair and an overall poor hair experience.

If you find yourself so displeased with your hair, think of anything nice to think about and say about it. For example, extend gratitude to it that’s it’s not falling out from the root.  Think often about the positive results of your efforts, tangible and intangible alike even when the results aren’t  apparent just yet. They will be in due time.

While you’re washing it, moisturizing and styling it, feel the feelings you would feel if you were madly in love with your own hair and if you were pleased with the way it looked all the time. See, feel, and think of your hair as if it’s at the best and highest version of itself. Be “delulu” aka delusional about your hair. Feel now how you would feel if you felt your hair was perfect. Would you feel confident, beautiful, powerful? Feel these things now!

Don’t forget to find ways to embrace where your hair is now and acknowledge what you appreciate about it now. Use your maintenance routine as a way to positively connect with your hair.

Give yourself loving scalp massages a couple of times week and while massaging visualize your best hair, utter nice things to it and imagine that with each scalp massage you are energizing your scalp to grow the best head of hair you’ve ever had.

Practice healthy hair maintenance- Your hair will show obvious and immediate results when you are taking great care of it. However, don’t underestimate the energetic frequency great TLC puts your hair on.  Keep it clean and hydrated so that it’s easier to think, feel and speak good about it.

In every way, your hair is a reflection of you. Beauty begets beauty, beautiful thoughts and feelings emanate outward and become a more beautiful you.

The objective is to fall in love with your unique head of hair. You want to get to know it and love everything about it. Trust me when I tell you it will miraculously start responding in a way where it’s expressing that it loves you back!
