Exercise + Creative Visualization + Emotions= Faster Results!!
I believe all aspects of us; our mind, body, spirits and emotional selves affect each other. When one is imbalanced it won’t be long before another aspect of the individual is thrown off as well. It is easy to limit fat loss, health and body reshaping to our physical self but the other parts of our being is oftentimes the root cause or at least affected. Mental imbalances such as depression may be expressed in our physical self through overeating and thus becoming overweight. This means then that we can apply it in an opposite way and can use our mind and emotions to help us with our fitness goals. I want to implore you to be open minded to entertain the practice I am getting ready to share. If you are someone who feels like you have tried so many things just to end up repeating the same unhappy and unfulfilling experiences well then you truly have nothing to lose!
So just to give a basic definition, creative visualization is purposely directing your imagination to internally see with your mind’s eye the fulfillment of your desire. Doing this repetitiously will impress the subconscious mind which in turn will lead you to unconsciously and consciously take action towards your desired end.
The law of attraction states that like attracts like. Your repetitious thoughts and feelings will eventually be expressed in your reality. Everyone from Jesus, Buddha, Lao Tzu & even the Hindu god Krishna spoke about this principle in ancient spiritual texts. I’m sure you yourself have experienced evidence of bringing something into your reality that you previously thought about incessantly.
What if we used creative visualization as a law of attraction tool when it came to our body reshaping efforts? Why not ramp up your physical efforts by adding a little bit of mental and emotional power!?
I have used this powerful manifestation tool on my own fat loss journey so I can attest to its effectiveness. I used to run on the treadmill and see my belly flatter and legs more toned. I would see and feel my body as if it were already my improved physique.
For the next month while doing your workouts try this.
While you’re working out envision a particular part of your body magically disappearing. If you feel you need a little more assistance in imagining this imagine a laser beam of golden light tracing and penetrating those flabby areas. After this laser beam comes into contact with your body fat see it dissipating going up in smoke away from your body.
Here is another visualization technique I use while performing resistance training such as weight training. While doing your sets see that particular muscle or muscle group toning up. Envision that muscle encapsulated by a golden light of energy that is strengthening and toning the muscle. In your imagination see the muscle growing and fat around it diminishing.
Or while doing some cardio, High Intensity Interval Training or aerobic see your body fat melting away like an ice cream cone on a hot summer day. See it melting to the ground and once on the ground being absorbed into it disappearing forever.
After a few weeks you will find that your imaginings began to influence how you feel. The emotional state of already being the fit, flat stomached, two dress sizes smaller person will only fuel your motivations even more.
It very rare we aren’t moved by something we feel. Feelings are the fuel behind every action. Feelings provide inspiration. The more fit you began to feel the more you’re going to want to continue your efforts to be in better shape.
So remember your new formula to fat loss and body reshaping success is:
Physical effort (Clean eating + Exercise) + Creative Visualization + Feelings = The New You (faster)
